Selling Domains… Researching A “Niche” Topic!

Find a niche that has passionate members - a large number of people obsessed with the topic of choice!

Here is my list of over 200 “Social Networking Sites for Research and Marketing“.  If you know of others (not affiliate links), then e-Mail them to flip@hikids57.com, and I may consider adding them to the list for others to share.

Include your site link.  Once I review the site I may list the link as “Credited To” information.

Another method I use to discover possible niches is by using Amazon.com.

Try searching on any group: books, videos, music, toys, games, etc. Look at the topics of the top listed products in any one group or all of the groups. More than likely these topics will also be hot niche topics for sharing in your “niche” domain Websites too.

You can also use all of these search methods to check the ad copy of the hottest items in any group. Just adapt the ad copy to your niche domain topic.

These people already spend hundreds, thousands, and maybe even hundreds of thousands of dollars on formulating their sales ad copy. Why try to re-invent proven ad copy when it has already been done for you?  It only requires alterations to meet your niche domain topic?

Look over the cover topics of magazines in the grocery stores or at work. Check out the latest tune topics and ads on TV and radio. All of these are HOT beds of possible niche domain topics and ad copy for altering to any marketing needs.

Use any other resources possible to further your niche domain topic research.

Try to make sure each niche domain topic and its passionate members are found in as many of the resources as possible. The more you find a niche domain topic available on other Websites - the better the niche domain Website may do at sale time.

Most social Websites do not require membership in order to search out topics. However, you may want to join a couple. You will need to post a “Walk Through” video for all sales efforts later, and you will need the link to put along with the sales listing (all the details can be found at www.flipaniche.com.

May God continue to bless you and all of yours,

P.S. Here is a prime niche browsing tool I use too.

Selling Online Domains… The Big Picture

When a friend discovered that I made my living by selling Internet domains he scoffed at first.

After a short discussion he was intrigued by the fact that I could make about $2,000 a month.  He was even more interested when he found out that I did it completely from home, and that it only took me about 20 hours a month to earn my monthly wage.

Of course I also let him know that I had other online income generating endeavors too.  But, for the moment, he seemed more interested in my methods of selling Internet domains.  So we sat back with a cup of coffee and he began recording our conversation.  The following content is just the information we covered in the first hour.

[Jim] (Not his real name - he is shy) - Okay Don, how can you possibly make a living just creating domain names and then selling them?

[Don] Well, it is just about that simple.  First you have to understand just what it is you are selling, who would want the product, and then how you are going market the product to its target audience.

Of course the first product is going to be the actual domain itself.  Once you register the domain, then you own it, and you can do whatever you want with it… including selling it.

The way I decide what domain I want to register is by knowing my target market, or my “niche” market.  I research a “niche” topic.  It has to be a topic that is in high demand, and, at the same time I want to make sure there are not too many suppliers of information for the topic.

Then I design the domain name and register it.  I will cover that in detail later.

But, to keep with the big picture, I then create at least two Webpages.  On the first Webpage I start out by just putting a link to the second Webpage.

In the design of the second Webpage I gather all the informational links and video links I can, and I try to build an information core around the “niche” topic.

Now understand this.  My “niche” topic is a topic with a highly obsessed audience.  I mean I make sure there are people absolutely insane about the subject.  It is imperative that I draw in these type of people.

Now then, once I get the word out, and yes, I’ll discuss how I do that in detail later too.  But once the word is out, and the targeted audience begins to tap into my new domain, then I change the first Webpage.

I remove the original FREE link, and I replace it with a subscription form.  My intention is now to begin collecting a subscriber’s list of names and e-Mail addresses.  I will discuss how I employ the subscription form later too.

But now my first, or “Home“, Webpage is building a scriber list, and the scribers are getting free access to the information they are so eager to obtain.

So now I have a domain name I can sell.  And I am also building a two Webpages to sell with the domain name, and I am also creating a subscription list, which I can also sell with the package.

[Jim] But what about earning an income?

[Don] Well, as for my selling price, I will discuss that later.  But you hit on another point.  I also want to generate income from my new “niche” domain.  To earn this income I just add a couple of affiliate links at the top of my Webpages.

Of course I make sure the affiliate links are highly related to the “niche” topic, and I also make sure the affiliate links are links that prospective buyers can create in their own names.  That way they can keep generating income from the same source, and I now have “income generation” as an additional product to sell with my “niche” domain package!

I will discuss just where to get those affiliate links later, but, there are a couple of other things yet to be included with the “niche” domain package.

You need to compose an e-Mail that will be sent to your new subscribers.  The purpose of this e-Mail is to give the new subscribers the URL for entering the Webpage with the information they are seeking.  But I also include my affiliate links at the top of the e-Mail just in case my new subscribers want to buy before the fly.  This e-Mail is also another product I can include in my “niche” domain package.

And of course in my marketing efforts I will probably write 4, 5, or 6 articles to spread the word about my “niche” domain in order to entice buyers outside of the normal auction channels, and these articles too will become an additional product I include in my “niche” domain package.

[Jim] Wow!  This has sure been a mouthful!  And you do all of this, including the earning, from home?

[Don] Yep.  Of course there is a lot more to the fine details, and it is all available at www.flipaniche.com, but at least you now have the overall big picture.

May God continue to bless you and all of yours,
Don D. Morrison <><

Creating Superior Online Marketing Subject Lines… A Fine Art & 100% Simple!

Okay, you’re ready to deliver your new product to the world!  You want to really make an impression with your announcement.  You will be creating sales page ad copy, e-Mail announcements, Web page offers, and Blog announcements!  This product is going to really make a difference in people’s lives, and you want to honestly profit from its sales as much as possible!

So, what is the VERY FIRST THING every one of your potential prospects are going to see when you announce your product?

THE TITLE OR SUBJECT!

So, how do you create a superior title or subject line?  How about getting your ideas from some of the best online business marketers, and doing it for FREE?

Try this on for an idea:

Step 1 - Sign up for any free e-Mail account, or, if your hosting service offers you multiple e-Mail accounts (mine offers me 2500 free e-Mail accounts - their support also installs Wordpress on your domain for you too ), then create one account strictly for this procedure, but do not announce it to the general public.  You want this e-Mail address to be strictly for submissions concerning this procedure.

DO NOT use your regular email address for this procedure because you will get more undesired e-Mail than you could possibly filter out.

Step 2 - Use this purposefully designed e-Mail address to join as many e-Mail lists in as many topics as you possibly can.  This should include things such as tele-seminars, free report opt-ins, e-Courses, e-Books, e-zines, blog postings, and newsletters.

You can find these elements to join by merely going to almost any search engine and searching on your keyword of interest and one of the topics above, like:  “dog grooming e-Courses”, or “bird watching e-Books”, and so on.  The responses should be countless.

You might also want to search various list directories, article directories, e-Zine directories, etc. on the keyword topic(s) of your choice.  Just keep using the major search engines to find these items.

You might also check out the “ClickBank Market Place”, where marketers in numerous different niches often offer lists on their sites.

Step 3 - Wait a couple of days, and then log-in to your specific e-Mail address created for this procedure.  There should be dozens, if not hundreds, of e-Mails waiting in your in-box.

Step 4 - Open a text editor like “Notepad”, and begin typing in just the e-Mail subject lines that catch YOUR attention.  Try to limit the list to only those subject lines that actually caused you to open the particular e-Mail due to your curiosity, and that you found to be absolutely irresistible!  Be sure to save this list on your computer, or, even print it out for future reference.  Then delete all of the rest of the e-Mails!

I usually highlight all of the e-Mails at one time (just press the “Ctrl” key and the “a” key at the same time), and then I un-highlight only those e-Mails I want to interact with (just keep holding down the “Ctrl” key and click on the e-Mail you want un-highlighted).

Now, with all of the undesired e-Mails still highlighted, I press the “Del” key, which will leave me only those e-Mails with which I want to interact.

I save this list (commonly called a “Swipe File” or a “Swipe List” because I am using the information (altered) provided by others for the creation of titles or subject lines needed to promote my own products or services).

The remaining e-Mails are usually only those I just could not resist opening.  I then focus on what it was about the e-Mail subject line that made me open the e-Mail.

It is important to keep only those subject lines (of successful marketers) that actually caused an “Open this e-Mail” reaction from me, and it is equally important to delete all of the rest!

Step 5 - Repeat this e-Mail checking procedure on a 3-5 day basis, and keep building your list of compelling subject/titles line, which you can adapt to your own product or service promotion.

You will quickly build a tremendous resource, which was actually compiled by some of the most successful online marketers in the world, and now you can use that resource via your own mailing list, advertisements, or blog postings.

You will often generate superior ideas and variations for your own marketing endeavors.

Another thing you may want to do is check your e-Mail messages (and perhaps even your articles or ads) for its SPAM rating.  You can find this service for free at http://spamcheck.sitesell.com/ ; however, most reputable auto-responder services also provide this service at no cost also.

If you want to go a bit further than just writing headlines, titles, and subject lines, then expand into writing your actual ad copy.  Let me share this wonderful article I found by Terry Dean, who posted a short video by Jay Abraham that shows how to produce great ad copy by ustilizing the free services of Amazon.  This informaton is well worth the few minutes it takes to view the video!

To our continued success…

May God continue to bless you and all of yours,
Don D. Morrison <><

P.S. You can try the “3 Minute Headline Creator!which will give you 100 instant headlines for your consideration (it is only $10), or you may want to use “Glyphius” (use a search engine to find a distributor), an excellent product also!

Discover The Online Marketing Diet For Complete Balance!

I am like a lot of people, who are on some form of diet control, and may even want to lose a little (or a lot of) weight.

Of course we each check with our doctors first, then we get into the dynamics required to effectively maintain a healthy weight.

Most people seem to encourage just counting calories in order to make sure they are taking in fewer calories than is needed to support their daily metabolic rate.

Without a doubt the calorie counting system works.  The conversation then turns to the discussion of “calorie quality”.  Does the quality of the calories consumed really matter in terms of health?

Actually, I believe it does matter.  There is an interesting article titled: The Science of Fat-Loss: Why a Calorie Isn’t Always a Calorie that shows two very famous scientific investigations, where they both allow the same calorie consumption, but the percentage and quality of mainly the carbohydrates versus the percentage of quality proteins becomes the controlling factors.  You can click the last link to check out all the details and the actual studies.

I just began wondering if online marketers actually evaluated their online marketing diet and its balance.

Most successful online marketing seems to be comprised of three components:  Product - Advertising - Prospects.

It would seem to make sense that even the absolutely perfect product (if such an animal exists) would not be profitable without any advertising or any prospects.

It further makes sense that the most perfected advertising copy would be useless without any product or prospects.

And, too, every person on the planet could be a potential prospect, but without a message (advertising) informing them of a product they would be useless to an online business as any form of potential profit.

Of course the most meaningful combination would be an excellent product people need, and that they have to replenish on a frequent basis, and mixed with the most informative and persuasive advertising copy, which would then only need to be placed in front of an extremely large number of potential prospects (especially targeted prospects - those in dire need of the product).

Step 1 - Online products people always want (informational videos and audio CDs, which you can make on any computer,  and e-Books, which you can find in almost unlimited numbers via “ClickBank”) can easily be created and even recreated if they need improvement.

Step 2 - Advertising copy that is constantly being improved and tweaked, can be found on every “ClickBank” affiliate sales page.

Step 3 - A never ending supply of targeted visitor (over 1 million covering nearly every niche possible) is also available with just a tiny bit of work, and you can begin developing those thousands of potential prospects by following the directions in this video or in this e-Book.  They cover the same topic in detail.

To our continued success…

May God continue to bless you and all of yours,
Don D. Morrison <><

P.S. You must decide the appropriate percentages of products, advertising copy, and prospects required to keep your own online marketing successful and profitable… But, decide quickly.

Do You Have True Personal & Financial Freedom?

Do you remember how it felt the first time you thought you were becoming an entrepreneur?

Did you rush out and file that business name, and label yourself as a “Sole Proprietor” thinking that now you are on your way to true business success and personal freedom?

How do you feel about all of that now?

It has turned out to be a whole different animal hasn’t it?

I know… I understand… I went through it too… for eight years.

Maybe you have discovered what I have discovered, that no truly free entrepreneur is ever going to be a “Sole Proprietor”!

Just as the label suggests such marketers are in fact just the sole employee of a absolutely crazy boss… themselves!

They are in fact doing what they know best, and they are doing it in massive quantities, and at a frenzied pace!

Some, like myself, take years to realize they are still stressed, not enjoying life any differently than when working for someone else, and… the pay is usually equal to or even less than it was when working for the other fellow.

How long did it take you to realize that to be free you needed a business a business that works without you… instead of a job that works because of you?

Have you gotten away from being a slave to the “routine” you developed in your own business, or are you still slaving away at it?

Are you letting the business work, or are you still doing all the work… for all those long hours, which is why most businesses fail?

Do you know of any successful online marketing entrepreneurs that still do the work needed to make their businesses profitable, or are they letting their businesses profit by outsourcing (or automating) the required tasks?

Think about it!  True freedom… the ability to do what you want when you want to do it… doesn’t mean getting in the way of your business’s success by trying to do all the work yourself!

Identify the steps (tasks) necessary for your business to profit, then start assigning those tasks to individuals wanting to learn how you succeeded in obtaining your own personal and financial freedom!

Step 1 - Develop an online product.
Step 2 - Write sales copy for the product.
Step 3 - Develop traffic to your product sales page (use comments in the blog posts of others in your niche market, and use signatures in forums about your niche market).
Step 4 - Entice others (or pay them) to do steps 1-3 for you.
Step 5 - Sit on your favorite beach and let your business continue earning for you!

If you make it more difficult than the outline above, then you are still working… not enjoying true financial and personal freedom!

Discover A Simple Method For Online Marketing Via Blog Comments & Forums!

I would like to take a moment to discuss online marketing through blog comments and forums.

I know a lot of people, including myself, were tasked to post comments to the blog posts of others on behalf of Mr. Brausch.

I have read a lot of feedback from many of those students (yes students), and some have even asked me how long it took me to complete those tasks.

I kind of got the impression that these Interns were not happy with how long blog comment posting takes (especially as a task to perform on behalf of someone else).

There are a couple of things to note here.  First of all, speaking of signing on to Intern programs, IT IT TOTALLY VOLUNTARY!

If you don’t have the time, then don’t spend it… you will only end up complaining and learning nothing.

Second, the blog comment posting task is teaching you an extremely important lesson: Commenting to the posts of other’s blogs will get you traffic for your own products!

Don’t know how to develop online products yet?  Then get into an Intern program, or buy the instructions!!!!!

Now then back to blog comment posting.  Why would successful online marketers ask you to post comments to the blog posts of others (in their niche) if it were not an extremely valuable marketing tool?  THEY WOULDN’T!

Taking part in discussions via blog comments and on forums IS AN ABSLOUTE MUST for any serious online marketer!

If you are not going to do these two things, then OUTSOURCE the tasks to someone else (I do)!  It is as simple as going to Google and searching out sourcing services.

However, this will cost you; therefore it is important to make sure the service you hire is getting you results that are earning you more than you are paying the service provider.

Next, there is a technique to commenting to blog posts or posting in forums.  I know, at first it seems difficult and boring.  But it shouldn’t ( and doesn’t have to) be.

Remember, that when you leave a comment in a blog, or a signature (not a post - never sell in a post on forums - do it in the signature) in a forum you are leaving something that could potentially be seen by millions of visitors, readers, and other participants for weeks, months, or even years.  So… This activity is deadly important and serious!

As an example:  My last activity was a simple comment about one of my Music CDs (which I sell as my online product) as it compared to a CD being discussed in the blog post.  According to MuVar 48 or 49 CDs were sold from that blog!  That was almost $500 ($10 per copy)!

That wasn’t a paid advertisement I made!  It cost me absolutely nothing to make the comment, and it earned me nearly $500!  Imagine doing that over and over!

If you are serious about earning online, then get serious about commenting on the blogs and forums of others, or at least having someone else do it for you.

Here is a little strategy I use in my commenting.

Naturally you want to read any blog post for which you are going to leave a comment.  Never leave a comment unrelated to the blog post, and never SPAM in a comments section.

Then, read any and all comments to the blog post left by others.

Then leave a question related to the blog post, or even better, to one of the other comments.  Why?

For one, the blog or forums owner wants, needs, and hungers for new content and activity!  This means your comment or signature will more than likely not be bypassed or deleted.

Secondly, you are encouraging others to react to your question thereby making your comment or signature even more important!

Third, securing you comment or signature means you will be seen by others: sometimes thousands or even millions of others, which means just by the sheer numbers alone that you are most likely to have visitors to your own blog, forum, or online marketing page!  THAT IS THE WHOLE POINT!

Okay, sometimes you get writer’s block when it comes to commenting or leaving an effective signature.  What then?

Well, reading the comments of others should prompt some form of question you can offer in a blog comment.

You can also Google for other forums or blogs on the same niche, which will give you an insight into the comments of others.  Just be sure to keep your frame of mind hunting for a question to pose.

With forums you can always look at the signatures of others.  Pick out 2-4 that really catch your attention, and ask yourself what made you pick those specific ones.  This should then be easy to turn into a question to leave for the interactions of others.

Remember this:  Your comments and signatures can be present online for weeks, months, or even years.  This means you could be earning for weeks, months, or even years based on how effective you are today in leaving interactive comments or signatures!

Have you got the picture of how important this activity is to your own online marketing business?

This is also known as “automating” your earnings!

Do you have more tips on how to prosper using comments or signature files?

Why not leave them (or questions) in the comments section of this post?

To our continued success…

May God continue to bless you and all of yours,
Don D. Morrison <><

P.S.  My “Become A Distinguished Superstar” will get you started in the art of creating online marketing products!  Why not get a copy today?

Get an online introduction & crude history to electronic sounds… Actually They’re GREAT!

Please be careful!  As with a lot of today’s music, this electronic field of music can also contain lyrics and comments that you may consider offensive!

Continue at your own risk!

This site will let you get a taste of electronic music samples (and some rather crude comments) known in the industry as “House”, “Trance”, “Techno”, “Breakbeat”, “Jungle”, “Hardcore”, and “Downtempo”.

There are as many variable in these types of electronic music as there are in any other field of endeavor.

I personally like “Trance”, “Techno”, and “Breakbeat”.  They tend to lend themselves to the types of beats and melodies that appease my handicapped son, and (after years of only listening to the 60’s) I finally found my own path into the music of the current day youths.

If you click “Breakbeat”, then “Electro”, then the first “1″ selection you will hear a tune  titled: “Radioactivity” by a group called Kraftwerk (1970’s).  I find this repetition very easy to listen to all day, and my Autistic son seems to just lock into it!

We also share a love for “Classic Trance”!

So, take a tour, and let me know how you did or didn’t like the sounds.  Did any of them make you happy?  Why?
